2.1 Teaching Methods
Based on my observations, my cooperating teacher uses Student Center Learning method. This method prioritizes students participation in the class. He gives some examples at first and shows how to solve that problems by chalk talk. After that, he gives them drill and if the time is still enough, he asks some students to explain the answers in front of the class. If the time isn’t enough, they will check the answers on the next meeting. The students are very attractive with the lesson. They always try to answer everything as well.

2.2 Learning Materials and Innovation
My cooperating teacher usually gives them material using PPT and shows the answers of the questions by chalk talk. He never checked student answers because he asks them to check their answers by exchange their books. I think this is one of the best way to familiarize honesty with the students. At the end of the quarter, he will record their scores as assessment material.
2.3 Sources of Learning and Technology
My cooperating teacher uses a math textbook that is Understanding Mathematics Grade 8 by Maybelle Gallardo, et al. Sometimes he also uses several different literature while teaching. He usually uses PPT or videos to show the materials. He uses computer application to show graph, chart, diagram, etc. He also uses graph liner to make him easy while making Cartesian Coordinate on the board. I think this graph liner is one of the best math media that can be used in Indonesia. With this media, the teacher and the students will be able to make graphs in short time, no need to redraw the X axis and Y axis when we need to make the other graphs.
2.4 Authentic Assessment
The students are assessed by written work, performance tasks, and quarterly assessment. All of their scores will be recorded at the end of the quarter. The evaluation of the quarter is given to evaluate what they have learned from the lesson. So, the teacher will be able to know their knowledge and able to improve what must be improved.
